eighteen
you differently
finished thought
you
re-imagined sum

no more rigid
than a
permanently
raised
eyebrow
no more
complete than
a wink

by numbers
you may
be as vague
as a
young girls heart

as art
you have the
foundation
of an old mans
dreams

This poem is written to/about a series of paintings I called "Eighteen" that was featured on Post 454 on Dec 19th 2013. The individual paintings were the previous five posts 449-453. The art work is based on the poem of course.
