I told you I was certain (probably meaning if and or but).
It was me not always seeing what’s before my eyes.
And you already discovering that they are never very clear.
We talked and talked with our hands.
Tossing and catching so many words.
Then our heads turned and we left those words mid air.
What was it with the timing.
Was there a problem with our innocence.
How would we describe the difference.
Within the fewest possible words.
