  1. A whirl of gas congeals into a sphere, and the ground yields heavy lizards. They roam, eat plants, then sink into the dirt. Monkeys fall from trees, build homes from rocks, and float on waters. They invent guns and books, draw borders, watch a Ford Bronco on the freeway.
    That's about it so far.
