1st Temperament v
Unknowing fingers
brush the shelves
where I have kept
memory ashes
my sacrificial relics
settle lightly
in sunshine
they scatter
in slow motion
quietly troubling dust
then nestling
in much worn fibers
they come to rest
on this newer plane
the hand that moved them
now
in answering to me
will be held
gently
