I met the prince
of mirrors
this morning
reflections of his image
on this silver plane
confused me
mathematically

he juggled
triangles
squares
parallelograms
and circles

slight of hand
was his power
straight lines
and well scribed arcs
were his play

when he made his show
of angles
equations
and
measured circumferences
his radius was light
Pythagoras was living
and on this good morning
I was still confused
geometrically

his inner vision
began to display
shadow like
reflections
of such a

he soon forgot
all numerical
