Change
It turned cold and wet. The coast is dealing with a super storm. I wanted to lighten up and thought something pretty would be a fine change.
I loved growing a garden of Datura Inoxia and the scent of these evening blooms was wonderful.

Walk in the Woods 5
If an extraordinarily talented photographer walks in the forest without their camera and then later explains in great detail what they would have taken a photo of is anything accomplished or achieved or attained?

Walk in the Woods 4
If a photographer falls in the forest and their camera goes down into a bottomless hole are there any photographs?

Walk in the Woods 3
If a photographer falls in the forest and while their eyes are closed in pain and no one else is around the flash goes off accidentally does it make a light?

Time (passes)
Forty years ago I bought a Minolta SRT101 and immediately went out taking photos of everything. I liked black and white and went into a lot of abandoned buildings. I was under the impression that I was taking some good photographs. I had no idea that every one was photographing abandoned buildings. Apparently it is still a popular subject.
This photograph was taken about thirty years later. It is an abandoned room.

Prism (no prism)
The colors are always there in the light. A prism can be used to separate light into its spectral colors. This time I used the reflection from some leaves that blew into the plants on my front porch and a camera.

Light and More Light
It took light for the seed to become the tree that later fell and that I eventually took a photograph of on light sensitive film.

Personal View (6)
An image of substance should be able to have an effect on more than just the eyes of the viewer. The maker of an image of substance should be able to allow that effect to have its own existence.

Personal View (4)
I have room for just about any form of image other than the ordinary. In a world of images and more images I can not generate interest in more of the same.
A heart on a fire escape. My friend Sam might ask "Is it arriving or leaving?" I would have to tell him "I do not know." Of course if I did know I am not telling.

Personal View (3)
We are constantly surrounded with images. Are there too many or too few really good photographs/photographers already? It is almost an achingly beautiful conundrum.

Fall's Berries
If I was going to make a card for the upcoming holidays.
It would probably look something like this.
Chances are I won't.

Big Purple
I have had this kind of purple plant on my front porch for years.
They looked particularly good this year.

A Third Photo from June
This photo from June is a subject I always enjoy seeing. Things growing into trees. Fences happen often. Machine parts grow into trees that are near scrap yards.
I think it would be nice to have a group show of photos like that. Did you take any?
